I have searched the web and asked all kinds of people the following question: I am building a '68 Chevy C10 shortbed pickup. I am running a 350 K motor out of an '89 suburban with the factory Throttle Body Fuel Injection. BROTHERS creativity has resulted in an easy under-bed gas tank conversion for your 1967-1972 Chevrolet or GMC trucks. It's pretty easy to run the lines, and if you want an economical filler you can put it up through the bed floor. A marker light filler or stake pocket filler isn't that much extra money either. You could try the salvage yard, If you are wanting to go with a behind the plate filler a lot of GM cars had them behind the license plate. Cut the filler tube off of the tank and get the flip up plate bracket. You would need to use the proper fuel hose to connect the filler to the tank.
