Well if blizz would listen to their player base for the last 10 years they would of setup some ME servers but nahhh lolSilvermoon, sylvanas, Ravencrest, agent dawn (rp) from memory. That's ArgentDawn. Shows population per side for all servers. Silvermoon, Ravencrest (though it's way smaller than Silvermoon) and potentially Argent Dawn if RP interests you. Like take Moon Guard, one of the largest Alliance RP realms however almost a good portion of the population is stuck in Goldshire not really contributing to the realm. That inflates the numbers. Interested in high population for casual leveling, dungeons etc. Benediction is basically PvE since its a 87% alliance server, also has a 21000 alliance population compared to pagles 8000. Not that a 8000 is low, its actually the second highest server population for alliance. I mean even an 8k server is pretty massive.Dalaran wow has outdated inferior scripts and low pop, while Cromiecraft is still in its lvling phase (they release 10 by 10 lvls every few months or so) with sub 1k pop at best and by now is considered a meme in the community. It's been tilting more to horde pretty strongly since BFA and warmode after being nearly perfectly 50/50 during WoD and much of Legion but it's still far better then the other rp servers. Well, it glitched Ji Firepaw out back then and he followed my character around any time I was in Orgrimmar. WRA Horde may have more population but that is where the generalizations ends. Walk up RP is present but it is 50/50 in whether it'll be good or bad (Same on MG Alliance.) This will give you the widest selections of guilds to join, and the healthiest auction house, and there are really no negatives. Go for Silvermoon/Ravencrest. Basically having the most people on your faction on the server is the most important. Advantages are that you get more guilds, more people in cities and trade chat, and a healthy economy (though that is not faction-specific). All US servers are hosted in 3 data centers, located in Chicago, Los Angeles and Sydney. OCE realms are hosted in Sydney and all Latin American / Brazilian realms in Chicago. That explains why most people not on the west coast lag badly when grouped with players from OCE..
